In connection with the dip tube length for a pump
or spray head, you may already have encountered the
term FBOG length. In the packaging industry, FBOG
(From Bottom of Gasket) refers to the dimension used
to determine the dip tube length for a pump or spray head.

This dimension ensures that the dip tube length is matched
correctly to your bottle. As a rule, the FBOG value is specied
as the length measured vertically from the underside of
the gasket to the inside bottom of the bottle.

At Pohli, however, we dene this length up to the transition
point between the bottom and the container wall
(see drawing) in order to ensure optimum
product evacuation.
