Our photovoltaic system, which was commissioned in 2023 and fully completed in 2024, is already delivering impressive results in its first full year of operation.

In 2024, the system generated over 101,000 kilowatt hours (101 MWh) of environmentally friendly electricity. We were able to use 50% of this energy directly on-site, which also corresponds to a self-sufficiency rate of 50%. This means that we already cover half of our total electricity needs from our own, renewable source.

The solar power generated is used by all of our company’s electrical consumers – from machinery and lighting to IT. Our electric forklifts and the company’s own electric vehicle, which are supplied reliably and emission-free with solar power, benefit particularly from this.

A look at the consumption and generation data from 2025 clearly shows: Our PV system is a key component on our path to future-proof, sustainable, and energy-efficient corporate management. It makes us more independent of the energy market, permanently reduces CO₂ emissions, and underscores our commitment to environmental responsibility.
