We offer the metallization of certain products as a service. This gives you the opportunity to individually upgrade your product packaging. POHLI offers metallization in gold and silver, either shiny or matt, e.g. B. on product parts such as pump heads, closure elements or plug caps. Glass packaging such as dropper bottles, syrup bottles and other bottles for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical liquids have decisive advantages to offer: Glass is tasteless and there is no interaction with the contents. This means that neither the taste, smell nor ingredients of the packaging can be transferred to the contents. With an additional coating, original white or stained glass bottles can be given any desired color. This finish is beautiful and not only increases the attractiveness of the bottle, but also has useful functional properties. For example, light and UV protection. Sunlight, but also neon light, can change or damage ingredients. Light-sensitive chemicals are therefore often packaged in completely blackened and light-tight bottles so that the liquid only hardens when it is removed and processed with UV light. In addition, oxidation by UV rays as well as discoloration or flocculation of the filling material can be counteracted. For example, this type of packaging is often used for UV nail polish products and medical applications. As a service, we offer embossing on our aluminum closures. This gives you the opportunity to individually upgrade your product packaging. We don’t just offer this service for large quantities. Additional costs for embossing stamps and recordings only occur once per item and are charged pro rata.

With the anti-shatter coating on glass bottles, we get the chemical resistance of glass combined with the safety that only plastic otherwise offers. The glass bottles are coated with a natural-colored special polyethylene. The raw material is brought to the surface of the glass bottle using a special process and combines there to form a seamless, perfectly fitting plastic jacket. The plastic coating reduces the susceptibility of the glass to breakage. It forms a seamless, perfectly fitting plastic coating. If the glass bottle does break after a fall, the intact plastic jacket can prevent the contents from escaping, allowing for proper disposal and reducing the risk of injury. These properties make glass bottles with anti-shatter coating ideal for handling hazardous substances. Theoretically, almost every bottle in our range can be provided with this special coating.

Pohli offers the full service of stocking over 12,000 items. The well-known POHLI catalog range is only a selection of the products in stock. As an official partner and logistics service provider for various production partners, we store around 20,000 pallets on an area of around 12,000 m³. In addition to pure stockpiling, there is also customer-specific and specific packaging, labeling and outer packaging of goods according to our customers’ wishes. Our service also includes adapting product elements, such as shortening atomizer and dispenser riser tubes on modern cutting systems or packaging them into smaller units, including shrink-wrapping them in small packaging.

Gamma radiation is suitable for sterilizing objects. The advantage is the high penetration depth at a relatively low dose rate. The high-energy gamma rays destroy the DNA of microorganisms, making them harmless. Radiation sterilization is therefore the only process to sterilize products in their packaging without significantly increasing the temperature and without using chemicals, which always carry the risk of leaving residues. Even the contaminated inner surfaces of closed packaging or components with complex geometric shapes are safely and reliably sterilized using high-energy radiation. These advantages make radiation sterilization a simple, effective and environmentally friendly alternative compared to other methods.

Our individual production offers many possibilities: logos, images, graphics, individual graduation, both opaque and transparent. This brings clear and easy-to-read markings for end users that comply with EU Pharmacopoeia and CE standards. We can use 1-8 Pantone® colors in offset quality, standard on natural colored polypropylene material. The minimum production quantity is 30,000 pieces, and three different motifs can be realized in one production.
